Wisconsin Law Enforcement Memorial Logo

The logo was designed by the first Memorial Board in the early 1990s. It was designed to represent all Wisconsin law enforcement agencies and officers and each part represents what our organization stands for:

The logo is important in identifying WLEM. It is incorporated into the Memorial itself, the flag, pins, website, letterhead, and everything we are involved in.

“WLEM”, “Wisconsin Law Enforcement Memorial”, the logo, and related terms are registered Trademarks with the State of Wisconsin as belonging to Wisconsin Law Enforcement Memorial, Inc.

WLEM Goals

When incorporated the WLEM Board set forth four goals:

  • 1. Building and maintaining a monument to honor Wisconsin law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty.
  • 2. Organizing and conducting an annual memorial ceremony at the State Capitol to remember and honor Wisconsin officers who died in the line of duty while serving their communities.
  • 3. Providing support and information to law enforcement officers, law enforcement agencies, survivors, and community groups who need help adjusting to and dealing with a line of duty death of a law enforcement officer.
  • 4. Providing a means for individuals, businesses, and communities to express their appreciation for law enforcement officers.
  • If you are interested in becoming a part of the board or volunteering at one of our events, contact us today!
