Three thugs beat and attempted to rob a mail carrier. A shot was fired at the mail carrier as the three suspects fled the scene. Officer Prinslow hear the shot and saw the three men running toward him. When Prinslow ordered the men to stop one suspect fired three rounds two of which struck Prinslow. He died the next day. The incident that caused Officer Prinslow's death occured on 11/18/1898. Back
