Upon his arrival Deputy Shannon encountered the unarmed subject near the roadway. As Shannon approacehd the subject he ran down the driveway and grabbed a rifle hidden behind a tree. Deputy Shannon was strcuk in the checst during exchange of gun fire. The suspect then barricaded himself in his home. Several hours later he was captured after another exchange of gunfire with a SWAT team member. Back
