He was survived by his wife and seven children. Incident Surrounding Death Deputy Charles Coleman of Pepin County and his brother Milton, the Undersheriff of Dunn County, were shot and killed by two other brothers who were suspects in a robbery. One of the suspects was later taken from the Courthouse by an angry crowd and was hanged from a tree. Back
