As Officer Klaske arrived, two suspects fled on foot. Officer Klaske pursued one suspect on foot. The suspect, who was about eight feet ahead of Klaske suddenly turned and shot twice. One round struck Officer Klaske in the lowwer abdomen. Officer Klaske died two days later. The incident that caused Police Officer Klaske's death occured on 10/29/1961. Back
